Ordering

Orders for furniture may be placed by phone, fax, or US mail. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time you place your order. The deposit is payable by Check, Visa, Mastercard. Typical lead times to manufacture your custom furniture takes 4-6 weeks. Upon placing your order with one of our sales associates, you will receive a proposed invoice, outlining your order in detail, and a payment authorization form. To complete your order, you must sign the invoice acknowledging you acceptance of it, and complete and sign the payment authorization and return them to us, with the initial payment, before your order can be placed with the factory. Once an order is placed and sent to the factory, it is non-cancelable. Please return them promptly as this will delay your order if not received in a timely manner. When your order is approximately one week away from shipping, you will be notified by phone and or email. At that time, the balance is due. Again, this is payable by check or credit card. Upon receipt of final payment your order will be released to the delivering truck line.

Delivery

"We currently ship all customer orders prepaid, directly from the factory using LTL common carriers. We have found that this method is the most cost effective, as Berkline shops the shipping among the numerous carriers they use, and with whom they do tremendous volume. Unless otherwise arranged for, we specify standard residential delivery with prior notification required. This means that when your shipment reaches the local trucking facility, they will contact you to arrange a specific delivery time. At the arranged time, a large delivery truck will arrive in front of your home with one driver and no lift gate. Each chair weighs approximately 120 lb., and so one person, with the assistance of the driver, can easily unload the pieces into your garage or driveway. The chairs come with the backs removed and resting on the seat. One one or two people can move them inside, one piece at a time. This feature makes the pieces small and light enough to easily maneuver the chairs around tight corners and through narrow openings. If delivery to a business is desirable or convenient, this can also be arranged and typically approx. saves $50 over residential delivery."

Returns

Our #1 goal is satisfied customers. If for some reason you are unsatisfied with the products that you receive from us please contact us. If we cannot resolve your concerns to your satisfaction, we will issue you a return authorization allowing you to return the product to us in it's original packaging. Upon verification that there is no damage, you will be issued a full refund minus any shipping costs.

Warranties

Berkline furniture exceeds industry quality standards. They offer the best warranty in the business including a lifetime warranty on the reclining mechanism, wooden frame parts, spring system, and sleeper mechanisms. Our furniture is built to provide you with years of trouble free service so you can enjoy life instead of worrying about it. Leather Direct, LLC is not responsible for collecting or submitting sales or use taxes for any state, other than the state of Utah. Each state manages and dictates its own policies and requirements.
